Abalonyx' sales of graphene oxide products increased by 80 % in 2018

Our sales of graphene oxide and derived products increased by about 80 % in 2018 as compared to 2017, and we foresee further strong increase in 2019. In 2019 and onwards we will have full focus on standardization of our existing products and de-bottlenecking of our processes as well as developing new and improved derivative products. 


Abalonyx' sales of products increased by 70 % in 2017

Our sales of graphene oxide and derived products increased by about 70 % in 2017 as compared to 2016, and we foresee further increase in 2018. In 2017 we had both new customers from all 5 continents, as well as old customers coming back with new orders.  



Successful Production of rGO in Kg-quantities

Oslo, Norway,  February 3.rd 2016: Abalonyx has successfully produced a first 40 g sample of thermally reduced  rGO in its new rGO-reactor with a capacity of about 1 Kg/day production capacity. With this new reactor, Abalonyx can offer Kg-quantities of high quality rGO at very competitive prices. Please contact us for more information.

Abalonyx receives Funding from Horizon 2020 to develop Graphene Oxide derivatives for use in Regenerative Medicine

Oslo, Norway – December 23, 2015 - Abalonyx AS, a leader in graphene oxide production and application, has been awarded a grant from the European Commission as part of its Horizon 2020 research and innovation initiative. The grant will fund the “FAST” project, through which Abalonyx in partnership with with several European partners coordinated by Mastricht University will develop graphene oxide derivatives to be used in additive manufacturing of scaffolds for regenerative medicine. Abalonyx wins grant for ambitious R&D-programme in collaboration with Skaland Graphite AS and Institute for Energy Technology

Abalonyx and its partners will obtain 4.8 MNOK (about 630.000 USD) from the Research Council of Norway www.forskningsradet.no  over a 27 month period to develop an application of graphene oxide for use within the oil and gas sector. The technology to be developed will first be tested with parties active in the North Sea with future international commercialisation.  


Abalonyx signs agency agreement with Fullerex

Abalonyx has signed an agency agreement with Fullerex (www.fullerex.com) to support its commercialisation of graphene oxide.  The efforts of Fullerex, a broker that specialises in nanomaterials and nano-intermediates, will strengthen the market presence for Abalonyx across industry by generating interest with potential end-users and establishing product evaluations for the company's materials. The focus on commercially led R&D trials with the extensive contacts and customer base of Fullerex will help drive demand and widen uptake in our products.


Our up-graded reactor has successfully been run 30 times during February - March

Abalonyx´ Graphene Oxide Production Capacity has reached 1 ton p.a.

With the increased capacity we can produce up to one ton GO p.a. Further increase in capacity will be implemented in response to market demand. We are grateful to Innovation Norway for supporting this firts phase of the up-grading project. In the second stage, capacity will be increased to about 10 tons p.a.
