Graphene Oxide and Reduced Graphene Oxide Products for Sale

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We are revising our product numbering and several product names soon. For 12 months, both new and old numbers and names will be given to avoid uncertainty.

We produce high quality Hummers method graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO)  in Kg-quantities with excellent reproducibility. We ship the GO-products in the form of aqueous paste and rGO as dry powder. 

Recently we added "fully reduced graphene oxide", "basic GO",  "acid free GO" ,  "dosable rGO-powder" and  "acid free dosable rGO"  to our product portefolio. 

To be launched soon: rGO- and GO-coated glassfibers, GO and rGO decorated with magnetic nanoparticles, GO and rGO decorated with TiO2-nanoparticles and more.

Product series 1. Graphene Oxide (GO)

We supply three qualities of GO-paste at the below prices. Our GO is produced by a modified “Hummers method”.

Product 1.1 / New Product No. 11000: Acidic 25 % aqueous GO paste: This product has been discontinued and replaced by Product 11001 below.

Product No. 11001: Acidic 20 % aqueous GO paste (Old product No. 1.1A): 20 % GO, 79 % water, 1-1.5 % HCl. This product comes straight from production.  C/O atomic ratio = 2.5 - 2.6.

Product No. 12001: Low acid 25 % aqueous GO paste (Old Product No. 1.2A): 25 % GO, 75 % water. This product has been prepared by drying and milling product 1.1 and then re-dispersing in de-ionized water. C/O atomic ratio = 2.5 - 2.6. This GO is a solid acid with about 1.3 mmol total acidity per gram. Total acidity is the sum of acidic functional groups and adsorbed acids (HCl and H2SO4). When diluted to 0.1 weight % the suspension has a PH of about 2.9.

Product 1.3: Water-washed 25 % aqueous GO paste: This product has been discontinued due to problems of inhomogeniety and replaced by Product 13001 below. 

 

Product No. 13001: Water-washed 10 % aqueous GO paste (Old product No. 1.3A): 10 % GO, 90 % water. This product has been washed extensively with de-ionized water to reduce acidity. C/O atomic ratio = 3.1 - 3.2. This GO-product is a weak solid acid with about 0.4 mmol acid sites/g. When diluted to 0.1 weight % the suspension has pH about 4. The product is perfectly dispersible in de-ionized water using ultra-sound bath for 1/2 h. However, if dried, it is difficult to re-disperse, so if dispersing is required, do not dry!

Product No. 14001: Basic 5 % aqueous GO paste (Old Product No. 1.4A): 5 % GO, 95 % water. This product has first been washed extensively with de-ionized water to reduce acidity. Then ammonia has been added to about pH = 9, (but pH drops with time, towards 8, see TDS). The product is perfectly dispersible in de-ionized water using ultra-sound bath for 1/2 h. It can be dried and redispersed.

Product 15000-series: Aqueous GO paste or suspension of any concentration / any pH according to customers’ needs.  Please enquire for quote. A range of products will be defined with product number series 15XXX, among these 0.1 and 0.2 % de-acidified suspension with pH>5.

 

 

Product 16000-series: Freeze dried GO (Old Product No. 1.6). This product is prepared in two forms. Either by dropping 2 % or 5 % suspension of GO into liquid N2 with subsequent freeze drying in the form of beads with about 4 - 5 mm diameter.

Product No. 17000: Graphene oxide film, about 30 µm thick (Old Product No. 1.7): This product is a flexible and coherent film prepared of pure GO. Can be reduced to become conductive and hydrophobic by thermal, chemical or light induced methods as described in open literature. These films have about one pinhole per 10 cm2

Product No. 18000: GO-powder < 35 mesh (Old Product No. 1.8). : GO-paste has been dried and milled. 99 - 100 % GO, but can contain up to 10 % adsorbed humidity and < 1 % adsorbed HCl and H2SO4. The term "dry powder" is used for powder in equilibrium with ambient atmosphere at 20 C, but the amount of residual humidity also depends on relative humidity in the atmosphere, which we do not control at present. The C/O atomic ratio = 2.5 - 2.6. Easily dispersible in de-ionized water. Requires ultrasound bath ½ h to form perfect single layer dispersion. When diluted to 0.1 weight % the suspension has a PH of about 2.9.

This product can optionally be supplied as fine powder < 100 mesh for 10  higher price: Product No. 18002.

Product series 2. Reduced Graphene Oxide

Produced by thermal reduction of graphene oxide. We have now introduced a fully reduced rGO, product 2.1-F in addition to the normal, partly reduced rGO. 

 

Product 2.1-P:  rGO, partly reduced. (previously product 2.1).  Carbon content of about 85 % atomic / about 80 % weight. The product is conductive and hydrophobic/amphiphilic. This product has a bulk density of about 9 - 12 g / liter when packed. This product is acidic. When 1 g is stirred into 1 liter of water a pH of about 3.5 is obtained.
